The Man of Honor expansion for Mafia: The Old Country adds two new chapters to Enzo’s story as he works alongside Ennio Salieri, plus exclusive new content for Free Ride mode.
Sicily – Winter, 1905. In the months since his initiation, Enzo Favara has proven himself a reliable soldier of the Torrisi crime family. Now the Don entrusts him and Cesare with a delicate assignment: assist Ennio Salieri, a man of honor recently released from prison and intent on reclaiming what is his.
At Salieri's side, Enzo is drawn deeper into the volatile underworld of the Valle Dorata, where loyalty is tested, debts are settled, and every move carries weight.
Continue Enzo's story across two new chapters, featuring fresh environments, weapons, vehicles, and Charms. In new DLC content for Free Ride mode, team up with Salieri to earn big by taking on a new set of exclusive jobs and extreme challenges, and discover new collectibles and hidden locations as you explore.
New Content:
- Two new story chapters, set during Enzo's early days as a made man. Work alongside Ennio Salieri to exact revenge on those who crossed him, then help him pursue a potentially life-changing score.

- Salieri's Challenges: Test your mettle in a new series of difficult combat encounters, stealthy assassinations, and car races.

- New Achievements to pursue.
New Items:

The exclusive new content for Free Ride mode also stars Enzo, with Salieri acting as a new point of contact.
What is the exclusive Free Ride content included with the Man of Honor expansion for Mafia: The Old Country?
Salieri's Challenges
Before he emigrated to America and became the Don of his own crime family in Lost Heaven, Ennio Salieri commanded respect as a made man in Sicily. You'll get to know Salieri's younger self in Man of Honor's new chapters, but he's also your main point of contact for the fresh assignments added to Free Ride mode. Salieri has set up a smuggling operation out of a warehouse in Porto Almaro, and he's eager to put Enzo to work on his latest schemes.
The missions that Salieri offers are split into two categories: Challenges and Jobs. Salieri's Challenges follow the format established by the existing Free Ride Challenges, but are tuned for higher difficulty that'll really test how well you've mastered turn-of-the-century cars and weaponry. Here's a full breakdown of the added Man of Honor Challenges:
- Standoffs: Wipe out multiple waves of enemies in these violent battles of endurance.
- Assassinations: Eliminate a priority target without alerting their guards, stealthily evading or executing any opposition along the way.
- Circuit Races: Get behind the wheel of your fastest car and complete a set number of laps around the track ahead of competing drivers.
- Road Sprints: Race against multiple opponents across the Valle Dorata in these point-to-point races.
- Time Trials: Try to beat the clock and your previous bests as you barrel through these courses without opponents getting in your way.
Salieri's Jobs
Salieri has his sights set on a new life in America, but making that dream a reality takes serious cash. He's spotted a few lucrative opportunities scattered across the valley, and naturally, he needs Enzo to help pull them off.
These jobs are dirty work, plain and simple: cracking open safes packed with cash, making off with high-value cars, or hauling stolen goods across town before rival smugglers beat you to the punch.
To see what Salieri has lined up, drop by his Warehouse in Free Ride mode. Get the job done right, and he'll make sure you get a fair cut of the take.
Collectibles and Activities
Along with the contracts on offer from Salieri, owning Man of Honor also adds a bevy of collectibles and optional activities to discover around the Valle Dorata. You never know when you'll stumble upon one of these while exploring, and completionists should be ready to search far and wide to find them all:
- Wanted Posters: Collect an assortment of posters with mugshots of notorious outlaws and records of their heinous crimes.
- Stunt Jumps: Hit ramps to catch air in early-1900s automobiles, soaring in ways the Sicilian countryside has never before seen.
- Sulphur Trucks: Locate and destroy trucks transporting sulphur as a means of revenge against those who betrayed Salieri.
What are the new items added in the Man of Honor expansion for Mafia: The Old Country?
- 3 Guns: Modello Speciale, High-Capacity Pump-Action Shotgun, Praecisione Speciale
- 3 Knives: Finituri, Giravolta, Rimbalzu
- 5 Charms: Dolce Morte (Major), Scossa (Major), Rifugio (Minor), Portata (Minor), Scheggia (Minor)
- 3 Vehicles: Trautenberg Model SW, Delizia Tempesta, Dufort 30 Deluxe
- 2 Horses: Silvano, Fiero
- 3 Outfits: Dockside Enforcer, High Roller, Woodsman
- 5 Hats: Dockside Coppola, High Roller Fedora, Bowler, Wide-Brimmed Fedora, Woodsman Fedora
Mafia: The Old Country
What is Mafia: The Old Country?
Uncover the origins of organized crime in Mafia: The Old Country, a gritty mob story set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily. Fight to survive as Enzo Favara and prove your worth to the Family in this immersive third-person action-adventure set during a dangerous, unforgiving era.
Enzo will do anything for a better life. After a brutal childhood of forced labor, he's ready to risk everything to become a man of honor in the Torrisi crime family.
His oath to the Mafia, with all the power, temptation, and hardship it entails, is a burning reminder of this simple truth:
Family Takes Sacrifice.
This linear, narrative-driven game is brought to life by stunning visuals, cinematic storytelling, and the authentic realism that the critically acclaimed Mafia series is known for. Enzo's story unfolds in a time when skill with a stiletto blade was a deadly asset, a lupara sawed-off shotgun was a go-to firearm, murderous vendettas raged for decades, and mafiosi patrolled their protection rackets on foot, horseback, or behind the wheel of turn-of-the-century motorcars.
UNCOVER A MERCILESS WORLD OF ORGANIZED CRIME
The rough-hewn beauty of Sicily's rugged countryside is a stark contrast to the grime of urban alleyways—but the treachery and violence of this gangland run just as deep. Rival families and their ruthless leaders wage unending turf wars in the shadows, hidden from the public eye. Trust is a fleeting rarity, and loyalties are worth killing for.
PLAY A CLASSIC MOB MOVIE
You're the antihero of this thrilling 1900s story, living out every tense moment of Enzo's descent into Sicily’s clandestine criminal underworld. Come face-to-face with a cast of unpredictable allies and cutthroat enemies in this classic crime drama, rich in period-authentic details that will immerse you in this treacherous Mediterranean setting.
FIGHT TO SURVIVE
Engage in life-or-death combat, be it up close with a blade or from afar with a variety of firearms. Ambush enemies for vicious stealth takedowns, or slice them up in close-quarters duels. If you prefer firearms, wield period-authentic handguns, rifles, and shotguns to overcome any odds and doggedly eliminate the Don's enemies.
TRAVEL IN AUTHENTIC STYLE
Traverse a wide range of Sicilian environments, from underground crypts and crumbling ruins to bountiful vineyards and ornate opera houses. To reach your next target or make a hurried getaway, you'll need to gallop on horseback across cobbled streets and open fields, or speed down dirt roads in authentic turn-of-the-century automobiles.

How do knives work in Mafia: The Old Country?
There are three different classes of knives in Mafia: The Old Country.
- Scannaturi: These knives have lower durability but can be thrown.
- Rasolu: These knives allow for one-hit kills during active combat.
- Stiletto: These knives have the highest durability.
In addition to the above distinctions, some knives come with special perks, like healing Enzo after a takedown. You'll unlock new knives with different perks as you progress through the story, and knives can be purchased from two NPCs, Pasquale or Valerio, then equipped at their shops or at weapon boxes.
Only one knife can be carried at a time, and all knives have limited durability that's consumed by special actions like lockpicking, quick stealth kills, knife-throw kills with Scannaturi knives, or one-hit kills with Rasolu knives. The durability of your equipped knife can be restored using whetstones which can be found around the world.
Regardless of durability, your knife is always available as your basic melee attack. It's a great option when an enemy gets too close or if you’re trying to preserve ammo. The basic melee attack isn't as quick or stealthy as a silent takedown, but it’s lethal nonetheless.
As for knives unlocked via DLC, players can equip DLC knives starting at Chapter 2 after meeting Pasquale. These come with special perks and advanced attributes compared to other knives within the same class.
Is stealth optional in Mafia: The Old Country?
For most of the game, stealth is entirely optional and just as tactically viable as charging into enemy encounters guns-blazing. However, occasionally, there will be gameplay sections that require Enzo to remain in stealth for narrative reasons.
How does the in-game currency work in Mafia: The Old Country, and what can you spend it on?
The in-game currency that Enzo can acquire strictly through gameplay and spend on in-game items is called "Dinari." It can be used to purchase guns, knives, outfits, cars, and horses, as well as alternate styles for some of those items. Dinari can be looted from enemies, gained from opening lockboxes, and earned in other ways throughout the story. There are no microtransactions in Mafia: The Old Country, and you cannot acquire Dinari with real-world money.

How do vehicles vary?
Vehicles in Mafia: The Old Country vary across a number of categories. Each has a listed Weight (kg / lbs), Power (kW / bhp), Top Speed (km/h / mph), and Transmission type (2-, 3-, and 4-Speed), as well as stats for Acceleration, Braking, and Grip, each measured on a five-point scale.
Vehicles are unlocked by making progress in the story, purchasing them with the Dinari currency at a Garage, via downloadable content packs, or by signing into or linking your 2K Account in-game (full details here). Additional styles for vehicles can be purchased with Dinari from Pasquale's store in-game.
Are horses unlockable and customizable too?
Yes, similar to cars, players can purchase and ride horses, as well as change their tack in stables. Some horses and tack will be unlocked through gameplay as the story progresses, and more of each will be available for purchase with Dinari throughout the game too. Also like cars, horses will have different stats such as "Endurance" or the number of times they can be spurred for a speed boost.
